Of any official in Illinois, I really feel sorry for Sheriff Dart. He has to deal with the Cook County Board, the horrible situation at Burr Oak Cemetery, and incessant violence among young people along with the Chicago city police. It is often heart wrenching to watch the news out of Chicago, and see suffering family members. Over the weekend, his office was busy in Earlville, breaking up an alleged cockfighting operation: http://www.cookcountysheriff.org/press_page/press_Cockfighting_12_21_2009.html.
Although cockfighting is something that people in many countries participated in with their roosters for at least 4,000 years, it is illegal in Illinois. Period. Oh, and it is illegal in the other 49 states, Indonesia, and the UK, too.

Police Traffic Stop with Kitty
This video is from Texas; a police officer's dashboard camera shows a kitty climbing all over him during a traffic stop. It brought back memories of Jim Fowler's animals climbing all over Johnny Carson. There is no sound:
